Nicolas Pleșea

With more than 20 years of activity in private eqyity and investment banking, M&A, going public/ IPO and project finance, along with executive & academic education, Nicolas has complex deal making experience, general management, venture & capital raising practice, private equity setting-up, investment knowledge  and risk mitigation capabilities.

His M&A and fund raising, IPO,  advisory knowledge, corporate and private debt & leverage buy-outs in Dublin and Oslo is enhanced by four years spent in project finance in Amsterdam and three years as Director private equity and member of the CEE deal board of Philips Investments in Warsaw & Bucharest. Throughout 2021 and 2022, Nicolas has been setting up, as part of the management team, the first Pre-IPO Fund in Romania, Agista Investments. As part of his mandate Nicolas completed several investments, hired the investment analysis team, and implemented the internal approval processes and valuation models (both for public equities and private investments).

Along side large multinational corporation experience in large international financial centres, Nicolas has entrepreneurial, venture start-up experience, incorporating a digital art biding platform (Seabam), exited in 2017. Between 2016-2021, Nicolas acted as Bord Member & Interim CEO at Normandia Robotics, restructuring the Co and negotiating a national dealership agreement with Yaskawa EU. During 2019 and 2022, Nicolas developed jointly with other two Romanian entrepreneurs a medical devices company (ABB Medtec) from ca. €500,000 revenues to + €4,600,000 as at YE 2021. In 2022 he exited at an Enterprise Value (EV) of €4,714,000 (in 2023, ABB Medtec reported + € 8,000,000 sales).

Since 2021, Nicolas has contributed as Minority Partner and interim CIO/CFO of Nexte Renewable AG (setting up a CEE Independent Power Producer, funding A series shares in Switzerland, etc) and coach to the CEO & Founder of Global Medical Solutions (medical devices company). He is also a Minority Partner I Board Member Corporate Finance and M&A at Pluridio I New Business Dimensions I Inter Computer Romania, where has just finalized an LBO in the Software Infrastructure segment and a business reorganization including a spinoff and a business transfer agreement (planning an exit as minority partner by EOY24)
